Global Human Rights Institute

Graduate Scholarships

The institute intends to offer annual graduate scholarships when sufficient funding is secured. Applications open only after the full advertised award amount has been funded, formally allocated, and approved. No award is promised before that point.

Eligibility is worldwide for students admitted to or enrolled in recognized master’s or doctoral programs with a demonstrated connection to human rights. Applications must be in English. Applicants whose previous degree was not taught in English must provide TOEFL results accepted by their graduate institution; documented English-taught degrees may satisfy this requirement. Two confidential academic references are normally required from current or former professors.

An independent committee assesses academic merit, proposed work, and financial need using published criteria. Conflicted reviewers recuse themselves. Awards normally go directly to the graduate institution following enrollment verification. Recipient identities remain private by default.

Applications are not open.

Awards depend on secured and formally allocated funding. Award amounts and application dates will be announced here only after approval.
